Ø  Take a position on the following statement: “It is important for project managers to be ‘culture sensitive’ so that they can develop appropriate strategies and responses and avoid violating key norms that would jeopardize their effectiveness within the organization.” Support your position.

 

Ø  From the case of Moss and McAdams Accounting Firm in Chapter 3 of the textbook, assume that you were the account manager Bruce Palmer. Determine the key problem(s) with the organizational structure and culture of the firm. Next, suggest the main steps that Palmer should have taken to manage the matrix organization, and suggest what Sands, the office manager who is responsible for assigning personnel to different accounts, should do to support Palmer.
